Victoria Hall

The Victoria Hall was built in 1872 on Toward Road where it meets Laura Street. It was a popular place for events and family entertainment. It was destroyed by a German bomb in 1941 which also partly destroyed the Winter Gardens at Mowbray Park opposite.
