St Luke

St Lukes Parish Church Pallion was built in 1872. Its parish boundaries included some of the shipyards that employed hundreds of people but sadly have closed. Many of the yard workers would be able to go home for lunch because of the very short distance between work and home. This area enjoyed prosperity due to full employment in busy shipyards and associated businesses which is reflected in the high quality build of this community church.
