Jimmy recalls his school days when his friends were  Tony Meggison and brother Malcolm Meggison. After school Jimmy would play around the North Dock and the Blockyard. The blockyard would be used for cricket throughout the summer exept fot the fortnight when the fairground came.

One incident I remember very well was when , with two other friends we decided to have a word with the german Luftwaffe. I will link you to George Reynolds, who tells the story much better than I ever could.
