The former Sunderland player and manager Len Ashurst launched his autobiography " Left Back in Time " on March 10th 2009. This was also Len,s 70th birthday.
The Scouser, who still lives in the Sunderland area wrote the book entirely by himself, unlike most football autobiographies which have been ghost written by journalists.
